The gift of such a beautiful piece of land speaks volumes for a woman I never had the honor of meeting. Next time you are in the area I would like to invite you to visit the new Canova Beach Community Center. At the entrance to the park is a plaque mounted on bricks salvaged from the original Patsy’s Shell Shop.
It honors the Lady that so lovingly gave the gift of the park so others would continue to enjoy the beach.

Heidi, I share your distaste of what seems like one more way for the retailers to put their hand in my pocket book! I remember way back over 22 years ago receiving the absolutely worse V-Day present ever. Do you think I remember who gave it to me? Sure. Because I married him. The day to day things that we do to show love and care far surpass HallMark and Kay’s ideas of Cupid’s holiday! Ps. Even I know about your distate of the day!Move over Ground Hog!

Love fish but brussel sprouts? Not so much! I made stuffed peppers last night that were delish from skinnytaste.com. The food pics on that blog will make you want to lick the screen ( at least that is zero points )!

What a great post! I went to WW when my son was in kindergarten. I lost 23 lbs..the irony is that I would give my right boob to be see the number on the scales that I saw that first day at WW back then . I love your comment that men get 300 points! I LITERALLY laughed out loud when you wrote that you run out of points at 3:00! Keep on keeping on. Don’t beat yourself up if your only splurge is a mini snickers bar! Just don’t pick upn any from any other floors other than your own!I made brussel sprouts last week, I’ll share the recipe…also fish in parchment. Delicious!
